To get the basics out of the way.
My name is Wes Mitchell-Lewis. Prior to college, I attended the Holderness School in NH, then traveled (slightly) west and landed in Burlington, Vermont, at the University of Vermont.
A handful of years later, when the Great Pandemic of 2020 began ravaging the world, I decided to pursue another degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. After 1.5 years, I hung my MBA diploma on my wall.
Early in high school, I was lucky to find a mentor in the ceramics studio - it became a passion of mine, and what I learned there has stood the test of time. What I took away from those years of throwing clay was establishing a standard and detail of which to always hold my work.
After graduating from UVM, I chased the dream of finding that perfect career - something I absolutely loved doing every day when I woke up, rolled over and turned off my alarm.
Over years I called a few companies home (Red Bull, Diageo, a couple of agencies and spent a lot of time with startups.)
But, I was itching for a change.
After logging 10+ years of experience focusing on brand & product execution, experiential events, and customer acquisition, I made the call to try something new…
It was time to do it all myself.
Today, I run my own agency called M(dash)L, LLC where I focus on Digital Growth Marketing, SEO & Content Strategy, Campaign Strategy & Management, and Customer Conversion & Retention.

I have.
Every time I do, I am truly creeped out by the results, comparing them to who I know myself to be.
Myers-Briggs classifies me as ‘The Commander.’
I am ENTJ (extraverted. intuitive. thinking. judging).
Commanders love a challenge and to think strategically on how to solve any problem before them, and that is exactly who I am.
I am a natural-born leader, exude confidence and charisma, mixed with a ruthless drive to achieve the impossibly high goals I set for myself.
I pride myself on my strengths, because they are part of what defines me.
I bring a natural energy into every day and always want to be moving forward.
So, what does who I am have to do with where I’m going?
I always look for my next challenge, be that personal or professional.
I try to learn and grow everyday, and continue to carve a path forward to the goals I set.
My journey will be filled with twists and turns, perhaps a couple roads will diverge in the wood somewhere, and I won’t always know which way to go, but thats the point, isn’t it?
Getting lost along the way is part of the fun.
At the end of the day, it’s not about what I have done or even what I can do, it’s about what I will do.
I am focused, passionate and never satisfied.
I fight for what I believe in and I never back down from a challenge.
I have made it to where I am today because I am that Swiss Army knife and I build relationships as easily as I can change a tire.
